Hi, I’m Jody Calderon
photographer, mom, wife
I’d be honored to capture the special moments in your family’s life or at your special event in the Westchester County area—let’s talk about your availability and a couple of other details in the form below!

FAQ
How far out do I need to book a session?
The more time we have to plan your session, the better. I typically schedule weeks- months in advance. We can talk about things specific to your session (such as how far along you are for a maternity shoot) or major holidays, and events that all impact the timing of when we work together.
FAQ
How do I receive my images?
After our session, you’ll have access to your professionally edited and curated images in your own online gallery, where you can view and download your images. You are then free to print your images at your favorite printer or make an album with them on your own. I do not require families to purchase anything additional from me.
FAQ
Do we have to purchase galleries and albums from you?
No, you don’t have to purchase galleries or prints from me. I recognize that the past tradition of sitting and building an album with your photographer isn’t something a lot of families have time to do today. I know ultimately your main goal is probably to print your pictures, frame a few favorites, post some cute pictures to social media and build your own albums online on your own time. So that’s how I do it.
FAQ
How far along should I be when taking maternity pictures?
This is something we’ll discuss on a quick phone call or over email. I typically photograph Moms during their 30-33 week of pregnancy, but I can advise you on when it’s best for you when we talk. My goal is for you to be comfortable, and happy with your images when we finish.
FAQ
Where do you photograph?
I’ve got a great collection of places we can go for family photos all around the Westchester County area. Maternity and Newborn sessions are most often done in my studio, but if you prefer your maternity session to be outdoors we can discuss that upfront. All Newborn sessions are indoors in my studio.
FAQ
What should we wear?
For Maternity Sessions: I have over 20 gowns to choose from for your maternity session. Depending on the session, you’ll be able to change outfits if you want.
Most clients prefer to do maternity shots at my studio as it’s more comfortable and private for them. Typically expecting mothers are able to do 1-3 outfits/gowns during our time together.
For family sessions: I can help direct both moms and dads on what to wear. It’s usually light-colored outfits and a dark color outfit with no logos or prints. Black, white, beige, cream or blue are great options and make it so that almost anything will go with it.
Babies: For newborns, we keep it simple. However, if you would like to photograph your baby in a “special outfit” made by grandma, please feel free to bring it with you. Otherwise, I have a few wraps and props to choose from.I try to keep it very basic for your tiny ones.
